EXPEDITION OVERVIEW

Welcome to Pontiac Lake State Recreation Area in Waterford Township, Michigan! This moderate-level guided hike explores Pontiac Lake's primary hiking trail that is a park favorite for hiking and trail running. Starting from the main trailhead, this out-and-back cuts through the heart of Pontiac Lake's best geographic features: dense marshlands, mature forests, spacious grassland prairies, dramatic moraine hills, and, naturally, panoramic views of Pontiac Lake. NO REFUNDS will be issued in the event of (i) cancellation within 24 hours prior to the start time of a trip, (ii) a guest does not attend the trip, or (iii) a guest arrives later than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time for a trip.
